Varsha, a student of class 5th who changed her behavior and the behavior of her family members when she came to know about the good and bad habits of the toilet in her “Swachhata Ki Pathshala”. In her home, toilet rooms were used for the storage of cow dung cakes. When she realized its importance, she convinced her family to vacate it and use it for defecation.
Students like Varsha are the live examples of behavioral change who step ahead as a catalyst in society and motivate others to bring behavior change towards hygiene and sanitation. Realizing her dedicated effort and behavior change, she has been rewarded with the gold medal through the project to keep her zeal alive to bring change in the community.
