Across Assam, more than half a million people have been affected as relentless floodwaters continue to submerge homes, farmland, schools, and essential infrastructure. Thousands of families have been displaced, losing not only their homes but also their livelihoods and access to safe drinking water, food, and other basic necessities. For countless families, years of hard work have disappeared beneath the floodwaters. Our thoughts and prayers are with every person facing this crisis.
At ADRA India, we believe no one should face a disaster alone. Our emergency response teams are working alongside local authorities and community leaders to provide safe drinking water, food, hygiene kits, and other essential relief to the most vulnerable communities. Every relief kit delivered is more than emergency assistance—it is a reminder to families that they are not alone.
