ADRA India has been implementing humanitarian projects to help the most vulnerable in India for more than 20 years since 1987. With formal registration in 1992, it has implemented more than 140 projects worth more than 30 Million USD, and reached over 22 million people.
However, it is the small things that matter, like helping the refugees in Tamil Nadu, providing clean drinking water during floods, building temporal shelters after families have lost everything in a disaster, a few Polio drops to prevent a lifetime paralysis, mobilizing communities to fight Tuberculosis or a family enjoying new opportunities for livelihood.
These are just some of the ways that ADRA India helps the communities. We strive for synergetic partnerships with other like-minded organizations that share a concern towards working for the most vulnerable. These partnerships allow ADRA India to contribute to broader strategies and have a wider reach, capturing the value of working together in a coordinated manner to create synergy and achieve common goals.
